Woodrow Wilson Guthrie was born on July 14, 1912, in Okemah, Oklahoma. As a resident of Oklahoma, Woody was therefore an Okie.

In England we have a little handbook published by the Department for Transport containing all the road signs and telling us how we should drive, cycle and walk. It's called The Highway Code.
