For the past few days we have had a hawk standing guard over the back yard. Today, it has a mate. The Chickadees don't seem bothered but the Squirrels are very nervous. They have taken two of the little "Tree rats".
We are so lucky to live in an area where there is abundant wildlife. Flocks of wild Turkeys and herds of Deer, not to mention many species of birds.
No way could I live in a city.
