It is just too weird that there are two threads about state songs for New Jersey, but there are. The other one doesn't mention state songs in the thread title, though...

On that other thread, Margaret very kindly posted the lyrics to the song I was thinking of, the John Gorka song, "I'm from New Jersey."

Now I'm NOT from New Jersey, but I get a really detailed picture from that song. Especially the line that goes "I'm from New Jersey/It's like Ohio/But even more so/Imagine that."
