Or rather yes, there is that folder, but all it contains are 4 0-KB .tmp files, and not the stuff I am looking for.

The folder I want is the one where if you're visiting a web page and a song plays that is embedded in that web page, it will automatically sit, for awhile, in a temp folder. Ditto videos. Some media players will play them back. They can be saved and copied to where you want to store them, renamed, opened for editing, etc.

E-Machines tend to be goof-proofed in a way I can't seem to crack. Dunno if this is a Windows issue or a Browser issue. Strokebrain here is making it hard to think all the way along the possible paths of where this folder should logically be hiding-- what I HAVE doen is click open every folder in My Computer that I see, to look at any subfolders it may hold.

This temp folder is designed, as I recall, to be a bit hard to find, for obvious reasons. :~)
