Yes, it was a bit noisy for some of the afternoon, and it's a bit of a distance from the door to the fireplace.

Thanks to all who came (and there were a lot of you!); I had a cracking birthday. The other two birthday boys appeared to be having a good time as well, and I think Peter and Ronnie (landlord and landlady) really appreciated it.
