michealr, you'll be pleased to hear that the Tornado is not in reality a coalburner, it was secretly fitted with the miniatuare nuclear reactor that was removed from the Naval College in Greenwich so all's well!

Excellent documentary on BBC4 some weeks ago telling the story of the Tornado, 'Absolutely Chuffed' as I remember the title and the 'Guardian' did a centre spread photo spread showing the footplate & controls together with insructions on how to drive this beast. So be warned should I ever come across it standing in some siding with steam-up but unmanned the police could have the most serious case of TWOC'ing ever seen!
