Subject: RE: Tech: Cheap Guitar wanted for purchase or loan-NYC
Well, well, well...I actually tried to find this thread a couple of days ago and couldn't for some reason and now I see what a conundrum my simple request has caused. First of all I want apologize profusely to my dear housemate for 1. Spelling his name incorrectly 2. For causing him embarassment(although we have just had quite a hearty chuckle as he has just found about his thriving brood).

Kat, yes indeed you found my myspace site. Thanks for the nice compliment about my singing. I have sung professionally for over 30 years and yes, have sung folk music and indeed have accompanied myself on a guitar while doing so. The suggestion that I find a "jazz site" seemed a bit "snippy". I am a musician, period. I love all styles and have taught:jazz, blues, folk, country and rock. If you don't believe me, give Blue Bear School of Music in San Francisco a call and ask about me...:) All I asked about was a guitar, was this such a controversial subject? Whew...get a life, people!

Thank you to all who kindly welcomed me and I hope to meet some of you soon at one of Dick and Susan's singing circles in March which I plan on attending. I promise if I sing I will not improvise :)

Note from Robert Rodriquez: 1.Since 2002, I have attended every Camp Harmony week and have been going for 7 years without missing one. 2.To "Open Mike" Please call me so we can renew acquaintances for with 350 people there in 2008, I do not recall our conversation. 212-862-3526 Evenings.3. To Susan, Dick, Barry, Finn and Joe Offer so much loving thanks for your friendship both as human beings and as fellow performers. 4. I gratefully thank Vicki Burns for being a housemate to be proud of, she has brought warmth and music into this house which has been without it for a good while. 5. To my family that I never knew anything about "Good Luck wherever you are!" And may the bird of paradise fly up your nose and stay there for all time."
