I have a C melody (Buescher from 1922). Nice for Shetland tunes. They are being made again now, by the Aquilasax firm. A lot of sound for very little respiratory effort, though the keywork feels like driving a truck.

My faves are at the cool end: John Harle, John Surman, Jan Garbarek. And at the other extreme, Anthony Braxton, though I can only handle him in small doses.
