To the lovely "Lady Jane" - On behalf of the whole family, and Meg & I in particular, we send our heartfelt sympathy. Our Mike & Ken gave us this devastating news last night, at The Welly, and we were indeed devastated.
We're all, sadly, conscious that circumstances have been such that we haven't had any contact with yourself or Matt in the recent past and that is our loss.
For the many meetings over the past - nearly 40 years - we'll be always greatful. We always considered that yourself and Matt came as a package - a package that was overflowing with fun and good company.

I can only endorse what our Mike has already posted. Matt was HUGE in both stature and character, not to mention his inherent talent as a master songsmith, which will remain his eduring legacy to the 'folk' world.
It's to his eternal credit that he eschewed 'stardom'and always remained an ordinary bloke as perfectly at home running an impromptu singaround on the staircase of Dunhelm House as he was mixing it with the best - we wish him Adieu and thank you both for your friendship.
