You know, in Italy, it's Friday 17th that has unlucky connotations. Friday 13th is just another day. You could fly out to Italy on the 12th (just make sure the flight doesn't go past midnight, get an early one!!!!!) The number 17 is generally considered unlucky in Italy. There's no room 17 in the hotel etc., That's why I tend to ignore both numbers and just get on with it.... very quietly, in case I tempt fate.....
