I had a terrible time today.
Pete Coe & Sue Coe arrived for their gig. Nobody had arrived to see them, because of the snow. Also Gwenda & terry didn't arrive to do the PA.
Anyway being the true professionals that they are, they got on stage and Pete played a tune and Sue did some flat footing.
When they had finished that, they got off stage and demanded there fee and they were going home. I asked them how much they would accept as their fee, considering they had only done one tune. Pete demanded £10,000. I told him I hadn't got that sort of money and did a runner. Pete came after me and just when he was about to hit me, I woke up.

Blimey was I relieved.

True dream.

I suppose some might say I was lucky I woke up, before Pete hit me. :-)

Mustn't look at the weather forecasts in future. Funnily enough Pete had rung me last night and I had some cheese before retiring to bed. That will teach me. :-)
