Saw Chris Rawlings play with Gilles Lossier (and Andy Vine?) at Ginger's in Halifax - afterward, upstairs in his room, Chris showed me the chords for The Blackfly Song (Wade Hemsworth). He probably wrote out the lyrics for me as well. Nice guy! He had a great song called, "Soup du Jour", which I believe was the title of his (vinyl) album.

Speaking of Andy Vine - he picked me up hitch-hiking once in Nova Scotia. I had my guitar, which was small enough, and the front of the van big enough, that I could play him songs all the way to Montreal. I think he really enjoyed that for about the first fifteen minutes ...
