Actually, I can almost..almost..sympathise with PDQ regarding part of this exchange. This remark, earlier on, just isn't that malevolent:
"Actually, I think she is a nice looking lady. Never heard of her before this PR trick. Hope she uses it to good advantage. Nothing wrong with hepling herself, the poor, the people of her country, her parents, et al...

And PDQ has given every indication of grinning and pulling chains, without taking a bunch of this at all seriously.

But there is a grating attitude, and an inability to grasp the whole point of Hayek's action, relected in these lines, to say the least:
"she needs to decide if she is "cheesecake" or Mother Teresa"
"she should have gone inside a tent"
Others here have beaten me to responding to them appropriately.

Truth be, at times I've just felt a little sad for PDQ. PDQ, has it ever occurred to you for a moment that very few people react quite so negatively to quite so many things in this world?
