No doubt the marketing gurus and the bean counters have got their heads together and decided that the term 'folk' doesn't cut it commercially. I guess the musicians on the Apple/ iTunes Board of Directors were out-voted by the suits. Anyway, 'World' music sounds so much 'sexier'.
