I'm enjoying the fact that so many of us were led here on searches for a song we heard 30 years ago. Many times over the years the words and melody will bubble up in my brain, so today I decided to google a phrase and found this page. I too learned it in 5th Grade Music class (Line Creek Elementary, Kansas City, MO). Happy to have a few more, if not all, of the words to go along with the haunting little tune. I hope someone records it and posts to YouTube! I'd love to hear it outside my head!
