Bonnie, to make the hearts (in Windows XP, other programmes I don't know)you can google "Special ALT Characters". This should bring up a chart of these characters. Then you engage the Caps Lock, hold down Alternate and type 3 on the numeric keyboard( to the right of the qwerty keyboard). Release Alternate and the heart should be there. When you have finished typing characters in this way, remember to release the Caps Lock. Hope this works for you. For Mac, it does not. It's a whole different process.
