Ignatieff.   This second coming of the first coming has the entire nation in the kind of swoon that would disgrace a nineteenth century matron in a tight corset.

The historical parallel that comes to mind is the leader of the Gauls, Vercingetorix, in chains, discussing things with the latest Roman emperor.
