With recent talk of a new WPA, I wondered about the Federal Writers' Project and the WPA folk song collecting, and how much of that material is available online.

As far as I can tell, the WPA Folk Song Collections are still not readily available online.

Some of the state-by-state WPA Guides are available for sale - but as far as I know, they are not online. I know some of the guides discuss music - do they include transcriptions of songs?

Anybody know of ways to access these WPA collections online or at reasonable cost?
