Guys, regarding the 15 year old lad Khadr who threw a grenade...

He was fighting in a war. He picked his side, the American soldiers picked their side. They were both trying their best to kill the people on the other side, and they both figured they were in the right to do it. Khadr got caught and he's in prison.

So....would you feel just great about some American soldiers getting caught and imprisoned in some hole like Guantanamo for years for simply doing in battle what is normally done in battle? I bet you wouldn't.

American soldiers ARE the terrorists in the eyes of many of those they are fighting against on foreign ground. People here seem to forget that.

I do not regard a human being as a criminal monster deserving permanent imprisonment just because he happens to have been serving on the other side in a war. War is war. The people on both sides aim to kill. That's reality.
