Thanks, Diane ... I'm not sure if what I'm thinking of would rate as high (or low) as PR promo blagging! As to "grown people having so much trouble" ...the point to my original question was quite simply that rather than sending an email to an unidentified individual via the BBC website, or sending a package to an unnamed person I wondered whether anyone here knew of a name to try. Different days of the week have had different names attached to them and for those of us unaccustomed to pitching ideas it's not at all obvious. I'm glad you know the ropes and that you're prepared to add to the thread.
