n Burton upon Trent - a town synonymous with beer - stands the diminutive Cooper's Tavern separated by the width of the street from England's biggest brewery - Coors. In true David and Goliath style this tiny pub takes on the giant opposite and serves a wealth of good ale from some of the smallest breweries in the country. Wouldn't we all like to get the kind of reviews you can find here Cooper's Tavern
Anyway on 27 February charming landlady Mary is running a charity event for the St Giles Hospice in Lichfield. Music will be provided by Norcsalordie who regularly turn out for the Cooper's beer festivals.
I recommend it to one and all - it's got everything - Superb pub, excellent ales, wonderful landlady, terrific bunch of regulars, great entertainment, good cause
Endorsements please for this gem of a pub ...........
