I could sing it for you...it was Top 40 in my house, growing up. Actually it was more like Top 2. Only Cancion Mixteca was more requested.

Would you settle for a playable recording of Joan Baez singing it? I found that on this page. Look in the box in the middle of the page...it's the third song down, below Amapola and La Paloma. There are several audio files available for it (including a really bad MIDI and a rather improbable version by Nana Mouskouri). The Baez version, though, es muy autentico. And the Trini Lopez and Perla renditions are pretty good, too.
