Always thought democracy was over rated...

Newspapers say that they are an important part of democracy, as they hold governments to account. But who holds them to account?

Apparently you can print lies and misleading information just so long as governments are not allowed to do the same.

I am not saying this person is good, bad or indifferent. Without a trial, we have no right to class him as anything other than a victim of human rights abuse. If he is bad, then let a court say so. If he is not bad, The Daily Express may wish to add to any settlement he gets.
