Many churches (and other religious groups) are already involved in politics from the pulpit. They have ways of getting around the law. For instance, some of them say that their adherents must vote for someone who is against abortion. Then they provide the names of the candidates who are against abortion. I think, as long as these religious groups are already involved in politics, they should be paying taxes.
