Whilst Tornado was heading North from York for a weeks stay in Edinburgh Yesterday, it returns to York Sat 7th March, a far superior pacific, A4 60007 was heading south from York towards Birmingham. I went to Moorthorpe (on the old Swinton & Knottingley line) to be part of the backing group as in "Sir Nigel and the Gricers!!!" But Sods Law applied, just as the chime whistle sounded from the A4 on the "up line" a nodding donkey pulled into the "down" platform. However got a piccy! Now I'll await the howls from the A1 brigade!
