Mr Morse designed and built superb concertinas - mine has given me many hours of pleasure.

His postings on concertina.net were full of technical information, yet clear enough for novices to get the point - they taught me a lot.

And so, though we never met, his passing feels like a personal loss - my condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
