At the old Jaguar plant in Coventry, there were several dozen birds that lived largely inside, being fed mostly by scavenging the assemblers' food. Although the plant was just as bright at night, the sparrows did NOT work shifts like us, and we got a dawn chorus as the roof-windows lightened.
