I'm off to New Zealand again next week, for nearly a month, and I really love the walk into Wellington from my son's home, through part of the botanical gardens. It takes about 40 minutes, and a good portion of it is downhill, but it's good for getting a brisk pace up, and the air's beautifully clear.
Keeping the diary (aka tracker) is very scary at times, when you have been to the pub for a session, only had one half pint of beer, and only two sandwich triangles from the free food. You then realise you have stuffed around 8 points down your neck that, had you had a whisky instead, and no sandwich, would have reduced to less than 2! So I am turning into a whisky drinker when I go out, and have told the landlady I am not commenting adversely on her sarnies by not eating them. She thinks it's hilarious!
