A tale of a fatefull day,

When the maid came to clean up the house,

And threw Harry away.

We had him sitting on the shelf,

Above our color TV,

His ashes nestled in a box,

For everyone to see.

Poor Hazel didn't have a clue,

What that urn was used for,

She mistook him for an ashtray,

And dropped him on the floor.

Now he's scattered all around the rug,

His tiny ashes tossed,

He was sucked up by the Hoover,

Forever to be lost.

The bag was dumped in the toilet bowl,

And flushed away was he,

Even though he wasn't a Navy man,

He got a burial at sea.
