Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Hank Thompson and Hank Locklin rank with the all time greats in pre 1980's country music. After the early 80's country evolved into something far from it's roots.
I do like the music of Hank Jr and Hank III and Jett also but there was only one Hank Williams. Only one of the other Hanks as well. Each was distinctive in style, but their songs touched a thread in my heart. RIP all four!
