I would have no objection to filling out the long form and answering questions by a census worker. I understand that although the quesitons may seem pointless, the government needs the data for some obscure but possibly legitimate reason. But I would expect them to call before coming to the house and to come at a reasonable time. After 9:00 pm is not reasonable, and after 11:00 pm is outrageous.
