I like to imagine that the Angel did what some of the LPO used to do in the Long Interval - nip into Lewes for a pint and a bag of fish and chips. This resulted in chaps in evening dress in the games room of the Lewes Arms uttering cries of 'Reeds against the brass, gentlemen?' by the dart board.
