Kent Davis, you may be right - but I seriously doubt it. There are many, many reports - even by people who like and supported Bush - about his lack of curiosity concerning subjects that don't interest him, even subjects that were vital in his presidency.

There are also many, many reports detailing the role of curiosity in intelligence. Here is just one:

The best thing he did, as far as I'm concerned, is to show that he did care - he would't have aged so much in those 8 years if he hadn't. Had he not, I would never forgive him.
