This might be a good time to mention the book A Harvest Saved: Francis O'Neil and Irish Music in Chicago by Nicholas Carolan (who is curator of the Irish Traditional Music Archive in Dublin - www.itma.ie - and also hosts the excellent trad music archive programme "Come West Along The Road" on RTÉ TV).

This fascinating book is full of period photos and other illustrations, and is well worth a read for anyone interested in either O'Neill, or Chicago/Irish music in America in the early 20th century.
