The Kit and Cutter Folk Club is an extraordinary phenomenon. Firstly it's a totally new folk club (started a month ago). Secondly, it is run by two Young People. What is not extraordinary is that tonight, March 21, in the Deptford Arms, Deptford , they are putting on the Boat Band, the very outfit designed to appeal to the young at heart. So, amidst the nu-folk, acid folk, twisted folk, psych-folk, weird folk and psionic pipe detector folk, you can be assured of a good dollop of Old Folk tonight. And, for the education of any old fogeys who come, you can see what the younger generation are up to, as there will be a plethora of floorspots/support.
