Rowan, my apologies for running with this and not PMing you about it. My intentions were good.:-)

I agree with what Rowan has written and suggested.

I also agree with what Susanne(skw) said "I like even better the idea of a PermaThread for making bodies of particularly scholarly or informative contributions of individual Mudcatters easier to find, regardless of whether or not they are still with us."

A Memorial Permathread with one posting per person and a link to their contributions could be quite significant, imo, for those who come here to study, etc. A quick, easy way for them to find stuff. Though, one thing I don't like...permathreads are not that easy to find, either, unless someone knows what they are and where to look.

While we're tinkering or suggesting tinkering, I'd like to see a clickable list of permathreads somewhere on the main page, maybe even up top with the other links or in the Quick Links, which would then lead to a page of permathreads listed.
