There was some sort of strange mutated worksong that occurred repeatedly in Raul Ruiz's "Three Crowns for the Sailor" (1983) - since the crew were all dead and their main source of entertainment was pulling maggots out of their flesh it wasn't exactly what you'd hear at at a shanty festival.
