I found another sound sample of DANNY DOOGAN'S JUBILEE, this one sung by Tony Kenny on his album "Through the Eyes of an Irishman" (Rego Irish, 1995). Authorship is credited to "O'Dea/O'Donovan"—that must be Jimmy O'Dea and Harry O'Donovan.

A decent Irish gentleman; his humour is ...
We toasted him and drank his health in ev'rything but tea,
The night we celebrated Danny Doogan's jubilee.

So he wrote the invitations to the best of his ability....
