Don, wouldn't you say Norman Blake is another one?

We have a Mudcatter named Gene who collects old 78's and LP's and transcribes them. He posts some of his transcription work here, and lots more at Cowpie, http://www.roughstock.com/.

I have to say that I can't sing that stuff credibly. I guess I'm too urban (though I live in the sticks now).
