Well, Diane, youi are stating very clearly what the thread is meant o be about. Well, I started it, and I can tell you with some confidence its purpose was actually to draw the attention ofMudcatters to an amusing, clever, and modern spoof of the Mudcat forum: in particular its mix of slightly bizarre contributors.
The thread was not, for exmple, designed to be a vehicle for people to spew abuse at each other, or to tell us in excruciating detail how they used to be familiar with Borfolk and Steeleye Span and left wing politics thirty years ago.Which may of course be very interesting to some people, but perhaps not to all. Perhaps a special thread could be started for that stuff(it could be titled "Borfolk: a parody" or something, it would certainly be boring).
