In addition to the sea music fest in June, the Seaport will be doing a first time event which will be spoken word primarily. This will take place the weekend of July 31---- and will be of a more contemporary nature, as proposed by Dano Quinn of Seattle and myself. Although this may have aspects of the Fisher Poetry event from Oregon, we will keep the focus wider than that event (not just fisheries).
If you are interested, or can refer someone who might be an addition to the event, have them contact Megan at the seaport.
On a curious note, I have been invited to set up and be a vendor at the Sea Music event, but if I want to sell CDs I've been told they will have to be in the store, not at my table?????
