Before the questions start, I don't believe the spoken word event will siphon off any of the funding that might have gone to the June event. As the seaport includes more contemporary vessels in their collection, it's good to see that there is recognition for the ways in which writers and songmakers have continued their efforts beyond the age of whaling and merchantmen under sail.
