Cletus, you've got me remembering Miz Lillian, Jimmy Carters mom, or at least a guy called Alan Coren (Limey) who masqueraded as Miz Lillian back in the 70's, in Punch magazine. It was a weekly article that took the form of a letter from Miz Lillian, allegedly in Plains GA, to son Jimmy in the White House.The occasion was the sad death of Indira Ghandi, the Premier of India at the time. Miz Lillian was despatched by son Jimmy to represent the US of A at the funeral.
