this was a really hard day ... many can't understand ... when I lost my old Lab 7 years ago it still makes me cry when I see a picture of my old dog. Betty would go outside from time to time but would always stay put. They were both inside cats but would go out on the porch when the weather was nice. Don't know why she went far enough to go on the road ... who knows
