Most of my stamp collection was stolen - imperforates and errors. What little is left is stuck in a drawer somewhere. It makes me angry to look at it. What really makes me angry is that the stamps were sold to "reputable" dealers who knew they were stolen. The same with my coin collection and family jewelry.
Greed is an ugly business.
