Last year a jeweler, exhibiting at the Kate Wolf Memorial Festival in Grating California, gave me a small gold ring as a gift saying he was sure there was a song in it. The ring is a plain gold wedding band, but on the inside it's inscribed with the words "Nathaniel & Alice - June 1905" and has a makers mark stamped "18K". A long shot - But who knows.
