I have been informed by my Guitar tech that my Ovation should be hung up on the wall.

I got the guitar from a late girlfriend of mine and it is the guitar I taught myself to play on.
Two years ago it took a tumble and got a crack in the neck just under the head stock.

After that it would tune up o k but then accession-ally it would just de-tune while playing and the strings would go slack.
I sent it to have a full professional set up and the guitar doctor is reluctant to do it.
He tells me to hang it up on the wall and concentrate on playing me Tanglewood.

I feel very close to the guitar in question and the thought of not playing it is horrible.
