One of my all-time favorite jazz CDs is Brazilliance with Bud Shank and Laurindo Almeida. I've probably listened to it a hundred times and it remains as fresh and as exciting as the first time I heard it. Shank was also a key player in Wst Coast Jazz in one of my favorite groups, Howard Rumsey's Lighthouse All Stars.
