I do believe there are two typo's in what you posted that need attention:

"So pull up your suspenders b'y, or perhaps WILL be too late."

Most likey should be:

So pull up your suspenders b'y, or perhaps WE'LL be too late.

And a similar question in this line:

"Put on your old Soewester b'y, and WILL be on our way."

Most likely should be:

Put on your old Soewester b'y, and WE'LL be on our way.

Other minor typo's include:
