I just remembered this song from when I was in elementary school. We had to sing it at my 5th grade graduation in 1988. That was in Columbus, Ohio. SO Spooky. Who were these music teachers who were all using the same song book??

I seem to remember not only:
climb the mountains mister
drink from the bubbling fountain sister but also:

So let's go run the ridges mister
let's go cross the bridges sister...

And should we be telling our children through song to go traveling around with some random "mister"?
Although I do love the song. :-)
